Christmas Chutney
I make this chutney for presents for family and friends every year and it is always well received. You need to make this ahead of time as it takes a few weeks for the flavours to develop. It’s packed with festive flavours of cranberries, apples, clementines and figs with a little festive spice. Apple & Cinnamon Scones
I made some blackberry curd today and was deciding what I could use it for. I was thinking how well blackberries pair with apple so I decided to make some apple scones to go with my curd. When I had my cafe I was making scones every morning before we opened at 10am. We always made fruit and cheese scones and they were always good sellers. It took many tries to get a recipe I was happy with and my customers really loved them! This recipe is based on my fruit scone recipe a

Mini Apple Pies
My neighbour gave me a big bag of apples and they taste amazing so I didn’t want to add lots of things to them and ruin the taste so I decided on a simple apple pie. You could add a bit of cinnamon but these apples have such a lovely flavour I just wanted to keep it simple. The delicious buttery pastry is crammed with apples and they are perfect served warm with cream custard. Jump to recipe Start by making the pastry. You can do this by hand or in a food processor.
